A cancer treatment centre is being planned as part of Thames Valley Science Park. Proton Partners International Ltd has submitted a planning application to build its third proton beam therapy centre in the UK in part of the new £36 million, 800,000 sq ft park in Shinfield. Slough agrees both £140m housing plan and canal basin scheme

Large scale redevelopment of Slough canal basin was approved on Monday (October 17) along with a £140 million housing budget.
