An application by Copperwood Developments for a mix of terraced, semi-detached and detached homes on six hectares of land off Guildford Road, were approved by Guildford Borough Council’s planning committee on Wednesday, May 17. Each house has parking and a private garden and 54 of them will be affordable. The green field site is 200 metres from Ash railway station and close to schools and bus stops. The expanding business decided to move from Upper Heyford to be nearer the commercial science areas of Oxfordshire.
